Company Profile In 1998 Mrs. Nedra Lucas was requested by the Detroit Public School system to develop a program at Woodward
Elementary School to assist students and their families concerning health related issues and crisis intervention. Out
of this concern Health Brings Wealth School Based Program LLC. was founded and incorporated in 1999. Through the use
of her own personal funding, in 2002 Nedra was able to create a non-profit charitable affiliate, The Mission Prevention Education
for Children to complement services provided through the Health Brings Wealth organization. In helping to build a more viable community, Health
Brings Wealth works in conjunction with other community based organizations, providing preventative, educational services
and assistance in the areas of anger management, domestic violence, parenting skills, and licensed substance abuse programs
for individuals mandated by the court and for self-directed clients. Since its inception Health Brings Wealth, has maintained
a positive working relationship with various business leaders, city officials, and the judicial systems earning their recognition
and support. Strategy Health Brings Wealth provides
services using a holistic, person-centered framework. This perspective is critical to the client’s emotional and
spiritual well-being. Support systems including family, mentors, and community health care providers play a primary role in
coordination and allocation of services. The scope of services include: confidential individual and group counseling,
crisis intervention services, and various workshops to assist clients with basic family and life skills. All programs
adhere to the State of Michigan code of ethics and confidentiality requirements.

Accomplishments Nedra Lucas
is the founder and CEO of Health Brings Wealth. She was one of the pioneers in providing human services from 1979-1986. She
also worked at Michigan Institute for child development in Detroit, Michigan, teaching children self-awareness and effective
