A pessimist is one who makes difficulties of his opportunities and

an optimist is one who makes opportunities of his difficulties.

While adults and teens work on developing healthy new life skills, the program will give them a personal advocate. Clients will receive the necessary skills/tools to help them prepare to become self-sufficient with high self-esteem.

We understand that "what it takes for one individual to become successful will not necessarily apply to another." This is why clients will be assigned a personal advocate who will meet with them, bi-weekly, to develop a personal portfolio for success. Furthermore, client's rights and privacy will be protected by a Confidentiality Policy.

During a crisis or life-changing, some women becomes overwhelmed with handling daily tasks such as household management and parenting. Some ask for help while others do not because of shame or embarrassment. Additionally, some women are under served due to cultural barriers including "mistrust of the system". The program aims to eliminate these barriers by serving ALL women in need, despite their socioeconomic status or whether or not they have children. We offer participants a "NEW BEGINNING TOWARD MENDING LIVES."

We reach our participants by a holistic person-centered framework which understands the importance of accessible, quality and cost-effective health care services. This perspective is key to the physical, emotional and spiritual development and overall academic functioning. Additionally, adults, community leaders, and health care providers play a primary role in the coordination and allocation of services Health Brings Wealth School Based Program LLC has been providing services to the Metro Detroit area and the surrounding community since 1998.
